The first pre-defense of the doctoral dissertation (urban planning department, faculty of art and architecture) entitled « Explaining the typology of spatial structures of Iran's metropolitan areas» was held on April ۱، under the guidance of Dr. Hashem Dadashpour and Dr. Mojtaba Rafieian (Advisor).

Neda Malekzadeh, PhD student in urban planning department, stated that the purpose of her dissertation is to explain the typology of spatial structure patterns of metropolitan areas of Iran and the factors and stimuli that affect its formation, change and development based on quantitative and qualitative data
