Signing of 18 Cooperation Agreements Between Tarbiat Modares University and Iraqi Universities The Iran-Iraq Science Week Summit was held at Al-Zahraa University in the holy city of Karbala from January 18 to January 21, with the presence of Dr. Simayi Sarraf, Minister of Science, Research, and Technology; Dr. Habiba, Head of the Student Organization; Dr. Rezaeifar, Deputy for International Affairs and the Office of Scientific and International Cooperation; and the presidents of universities from Iran and Iraq. During this event,acting presidents Dr. Yousef Hojjat from Tarbiat Modares University was also present. Eighteen cooperation agreements were signed between Tarbiat Modares University and top Iraqi universities to expand scientific and research collaborations. These agreements were signed with universities including Ibn Sina University of Medical Sciences and Pharmacy, University of Information Technology and Communications, Tal Afar University, Mosul University, Diyala University, Al-Hilla Smart University, Nineveh University, Al-Bayan University, Kut University College, Iraq University, Al-Hamdaniya University, Jaber Ibn Hayyan University of Medical Sciences, Uruk University, Samarra University, Northern Technical University, Al-Muthanna University, Al-Noor University, and Babylon University. The agreements cover various areas such as faculty and student exchange, scientific and research collaboration, implementation of joint research projects, publication of scientific articles, and organization of seminars and academic conferences. It is worth mentioning that the Iran-Iraq Science Week provides a platform for knowledge exchange and the development of scientific and technological interactions between the educational and research institutions of both countries.
