International activities of Agriculture Faculty
International activities of the faculty of agriculture were presented by Dr. Vaez dean of the agriculture faculty.

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed with the Wageningen University & Research, Netherlands, in addition to A Memorandum of Understanding with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany, and three Memorandums of Understanding with the University of China (on medicinal herbs).
Participation in Celosia cristata crop cultivation with the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, cooperation with Mexico on plant waste and metabolites, cooperation with University of Wales, England, on rumen microbes, cooperation with Ningbo customs, China, on identification and certification of Wood quarantine pests (Nematode Pests), a joint research project with the Shanghai Institute of Plant Physiology and Ecology for Biological Sciences, supervised by the Sciences Academy of China in Shanghai, research project approval at the first joint Iranian-German research exchange, IAESTE student exchange, and groundwater system numerical modeling of Imam Hussein (AS) Shrine development project in Iraq was among the the International activities of TMU agriculture faculty.
The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) (German: Karlsruher Institut fü r Technologie) is a public research university and one of the largest research and educational institutions in Germany. KIT was created in ۲۰۰۹ when the University of Karlsruhe (Universitä t Karlsruhe), founded in ۱۸۲۵ as a public research university and also known as the « Fridericiana» , merged with the Karlsruhe Research Center (Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe), which had originally been established in ۱۹۵۶ as a national nuclear research center (Kernforschungszentrum Karlsruhe, or KfK).
Wageningen University & Research (also known as Wageningen UR; abbreviation: WUR) is a public university in Wageningen, The Netherlands. It is located in a region of the Netherlands known as the Food Valley. WUR consists of Wageningen University and the former agricultural research institute of the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture. Wageningen University trains specialists (BSc, MSc and PhD) in life and social sciences and focuses its research on scientific, social and commercial problems in the field of life sciences and natural resources. It is widely known for its agriculture, forestry, and environmental studies programs. It is also a member of the Euroleague for Life Sciences (ELLS) university network.
The University of Copenhagen is the oldest university and research institution in Denmark. Founded in ۱۴۷۹ as a studium generale, it is the second oldest institution for higher education in Scandinavia after Uppsala University.
The University of Wales (Welsh: Prifysgol Cymru) was a confederal university based in Cardiff, Wales, UK. Founded by Royal Charter in ۱۸۹۳ as a federal university with three constituent colleges – Aberystwyth, Bangor and Cardiff – the university was the first and oldest university in Wales, one of the four countries in the United Kingdom. The university was the second largest university in the UK.
