Dr. Ahmadi, the chancellor of TMU attended the “ Strategic Council of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Technology Faculty” which was held on May, ۲۶.۲۰۱۸. After lengthy discussion, the establishment of two new departments “ biosensors” and “ renewable energies” was ratified in that session. This decision was made in line with the move of TMU towards the 3rd Generation Universities and based on strategic missions and the key role of interdisciplinary courses.
