According to the latest news released by ISC Website, TMU with a ۱۹٪ growth in science-related activities has managed to obtain the second top position among its counterparts in Iran. Based on ISC website and information obtained from Web of Science (ISI), TMU has witnessed a ۱۹٪ growth in ۲۰۱۶ compared with its achievements in ۲۰۱۵. A growth rate which gives it the highest growth rate in scientific achievements in the world. Next to University of Tehran, TMU is the second best university in terms of science producing efforts as reported by ISC. Some ۳۸.۳۳۲ papers were published in ۲۰۱۵، a figure which reached ۴۵.۵۶۰ papers in ۲۰۱۶. A look at the top ۲۵ countries active in science publications reveals that in the past two years, Islamic Republic of Iran holds the world’ s top rank in this regard. Next to Iran, Russia, Poland, India, China, Turkey, Sweden, Scotland, Australia, Austria and Denmark take the subsequent positions respectively. These rival countries have had a growth rate ranging between ۵ to ۱۷ percent.
