Tarbiat Modares University, as the country's biotechnology hub since ۱۹۹۹، has the mission of awarding the Grand Biotechnology Award to producing companies or those who have a biotechnology product. ۳۴ drafts were sent to the secretariat, four top projects out of ۳۴ drafts were selected and sent to the specialized council. The first and second prizes of biotechnology were not selected, due to the fact that the award regulations only allow for approved designs which both have a license and are produced. The third prize of the conference was awarded to one of the technological companies for the Antibody and Delizoomab project.
