According to the latest ranking of the universities' impact (۲۰۲۰)، published by the international system of Times, TMU was considered valuable and effective with a global ranking of ۴۰۱-۶۰۰ in ۴ cases of the UN sustainable development goals, including:
- Appropriate employment and economic growth
- Industry, innovation and infrastructure
- Access to sanitary water
- Participation in achieving development goals
The Times Higher Education World University Rankings, founded in ۲۰۰۴، provide the definitive list of the world?s best universities. The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings are the only global performance tables that assess universities against the United Nations? sustainable development goals (SDGs) and measure global universities? success in delivering the United Nations? sustainable development goals.
This second edition includes ۷۶۶ universities from ۸۵ countries. A university?s final score in the overall table is calculated by combining its score in SDG ۱۷ with its top three scores out of the remaining ۱۶ SDGs. SDG ۱۷ accounts for ۲۲ per cent of the overall score, while the other SDGs each carry a weight of ۲۶ per cent. This means that different universities are scored based on a different set of SDGs, depending on their focus.
