Cultural and social committee of medical sciences faculty on the occasion of the new year and with the aim of promoting the environmental protection culture at the campus cleanup workshop, March 12th, cleaned up some parts of the university's streets, places and green spaces.
In this cultural event, with more than ۱۰۰ fans and environmentalists including faculty members, university staff and medicine faculty students, the rubbishes were collected from the campus.
The University Nature Cleanup Campaign is an excellent opportunity to promote the culture of environmental protection, promoting social participation and preparing the University for welcoming spring.
*Nowruz is the traditional Iranian festival of spring, also known as the Persian New Year which starts at the exact moment of the vernal equinox, commencing the start of the spring in the Northern Hemisphere. Nowruz has been celebrated for at least ۳.۰۰۰ years and is deeply rooted in the rituals and traditions of the Zoroastrian religion. Despite its Iranian and Zoroastrian origins, Nowruz has been celebrated by diverse communities. It has been celebrated for over ۳.۰۰۰ years in Western Asia, Central Asia, the Caucasus, the Black Sea Basin, and the Balkans.
