Acknowledgment of University Graduates as Scientific Winners of the Festival of Young Scientists and philosophers

Dr. Noureddin Bakhtiari, a university graduate, was honored at the finishing ceremony of the Third Festival of Young Scientists and thinkers.
At the event, held on November ۳۰ at the University of Tehran, ۶۱ scientific-selected festival ideologists each presented their ideas to the audience within ۹۰ seconds.
In addition, while honoring the winners of the scientific judging phase, two young scientific nominees (Dr. Noureddin Bakhtiari and Dr. Maryam Bahraini) were prized by the festival's jury.
In the third edition of the Festival of Young Scientists and Young thinkers out of ۱۰۱۰ applicants, ۳۱۶ ideas were submitted to the scientific evaluation stage, of which ۲۸۳ were finalized. In the next phase, ۲۶ ideas were selected, including ۴ team ideas and ۴ individual ideas, and ۲۵۰ research credits were awarded for each team and individual section to commercialize the ideas.
Noureddin Bakhtiari holds a PhD in biochemistry from Tarbiat Modares University, and has more than ۲۰ scientific research papers in prestigious journals, ۵ patents, and ۲ compilation and translation books. In one of his research, he had succeeded in extracting an effective compound from the herbal extracts called “ ursulic acid" with capability of anti-aging activity.
