Tarbiat Modares University's «Journal of Insect Biodiversity and Systematics» (editor-in-chief of Dr. Ali Asghar Talebi) was ranked first among ۲۱ specialized scientific journals in medicinal plant and entomology. According to the Islamic World Science Citation Database (ISC), ?the Journal of Insect Biodiversity and Systematics? (with IF = ۰.۷۰۵ and based on Q۱ quality index), which has been published since ۲۰۱۵، ranks first among ۲۱ specialized journals in medicinal plant and entomology. It is also ranked third among ۳۷۳ journals in the field of agriculture and biology, and seventh among ۷۳۶ biology journals.

The journal is published under the editorship of Dr. Ali Asghar Talebi, an academic of TMU Agriculture faculty, the managing editorship of Dr. Ahad Sahragard (Gilan University), and the internal management of Dr. Ehsan Rakhshani (Zabul University), and the editorial board members are prominent scholars of Iran, Georgia, Greece, Serbia, Austria and the Netherlands.
JOBS quarterly Magazine publishes monograph, review and research articles on the classification and diversity of insects and other arthropods. It is indexed on CABI, Zoobank, and several national databases, such as Magiran and SID.
