The signing ceremony of this memorandum of understanding was held on June ۱۱.۲۰۲۰ in the presence of the TMU Science and Technology Park head and the CEO of the Tehran Municipality sports organization.
The TMU Science and Technology Park innovation zone (an area of over ۳۷۰ hectares) will be created to serve the city in various fields in the central area of the university. This project «s aim is to strengthen Tehran» s technology and innovation ecosystem and promote the quality of Tehran's citizens? life, especially those living in this area, as well as increase public participation in the form of non-governmental organizations and associations.
Referring to the fact that the memorandum will lead to the development of public sports in various urban areas, the CEO of Tehran Municipality Sports Organization stated: «Improving the level of knowledge and skills of citizens in sports issues by encouraging them to participate in sports training classes.» Increasing citizen participation in sports events through informing citizens is one of the goals of signing this memorandum.
He added: «Continuous and two-way communication with citizens on issues of citizenship and public sports and creating a communication platform between citizens and sports centers in order to promote the level of citizenship sports services is another goal of signing this memorandum.»
