On the tree planting day and the natural resources week, with the aim of developing greenery, trees preservation and the environment, and also promoting tree planting culture, the tree planting Celebration was held on March 4th at the Science and Technology Park campus of University.
Dr Ahmadi, the university chansellor, said: « Planting trees is a good tradition that is done annually by the university academics on the tree-planting day, and in today ceremony, ۲۰۰۰ trees are planted that will be irrigated by droplet irrigation method.
He added that the vast space of the science and technology park at the university where planting of trees took place was going to be a botanical garden.
Referring to the importance of holding such events in the scientific and academic atmosphere, he said:» Academics play an important role in modeling both in society, and planting trees in academic environments can be a message to promote friendship with nature, to meet the nature needs, and to help Sustainable development.
