For the first time, a document was commissioned by an Iranian team for publication in the United Nations information and communication technology strategic documents collection.
The university team (Dr. Ahmad Reza Sherafat, academic member of Telecommunications department, and Dr. Mehdi Arouji, academic member of Medical Engineering department, Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty), attended the annual meeting of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Geneva.
At this international event, under the auspices of the United Nations, a report by the university team « Information and Communication Technology in Digital Health: Remote Surgical Robots» , is presented in the Seventh Strategic Document “ Question ۲/۲: Suggested information and telecommunications / ICTs for e-health” ، which is published every four years.
