On the occasion of World Maritime Day (October ۱۲)، Dr. Alireza Riahi Bakhtiari, academic member of the Natural Resources and Marine Sciences faculty, was honored as an exemplary marine researcher for conducting investigations and research projects in the field of marine pollution and publishing scientific research articles in this field.

Dr. Alireza Bakhtiari holds a bachelor « s degree in Environmental Science Engineering from Gorgan University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, a master» s degree in Environmental Pollution from Tarbiat Modares University and a PhD in Environmental Geochemistry from Universiti Putra Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur.

Exemplary professor of Tarbiat Modares University, top researcher of Mazandaran province in the fields of natural resources and agriculture, national chosen the scientific elites in ۲۰۲۱ by Iran science elites federation and top researcher of Tarbiat Modares University in ۲۰۱۴.۲۰۱۷ and ۲۰۱۹، are among Dr. Riahi's honors.
