Times ranking assessed universities based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals are ۱۷، in which Times Institute have been used ۱۱ out of ۱۷ to rank universities.
The Times Institute has surveyed ۴۸۹ universities from ۷۷ countries. According to the Times Ratings System, the Tarbiat Modares University, with the aim of contributing the development goals realization scored ۷۱، that has been ranked 80th among the ۱۰۰ influential universities in the world in impact.
