The signing of four cooperation Agreements between Tarbiat Modares University and Russian universities
To expand the relationships between the top universities of Iran and Russia, which has always been one of the missions of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and to deepen scientific and research collaborations with universities of the Russian Federation, Tarbiat Modares University has signed four memoranda of understanding with Lomonosov Moscow State University, Ufa University, Ural University, and Dagestan state University.

It is worth mentioning that Lomonosov Moscow State University is the first university in the Russian Federation and ranks 78th globally in 2024.
Notably, Dr. Hojjat, the Acting President of the University, Dr. Kamali, Director of International Scientific Relations, and Dr. Baharloo, Deputy Director for Research of the International Campus attended this meeting on behalf of Tarbiat Modares University.
In his speech, Dr. Hojjat introduced Tarbiat Modares University and emphasized the importance of implementing the signed agreements rather than leaving them as mere documents of cooperation. He highlighted the significance of Tarbiat Modares University as the only postgraduate university in the country, exclusively dedicated to training master's and doctoral students, and expressed the university’ s willingness to collaborate with Russian universities in various scientific and technical fields.
Furthermore, he referred to the establishment of the Russkiy Mir Foundation’ s representative office at Tarbiat Modares University and the various scientific and technical programs the university has conducted with active Russian institutions and universities. He expressed hope that Iranian and Russian universities would take significant steps toward the practical implementation of the signed agreements between the two countries.
