In an initiative to introduce international students to Iran's rich cultural and historical heritage, Tarbiat Modares University organized its first pilgrimage tour of the new Persian year. The program featured visits to several significant sites

The International Office of Tarbiat Modares University planned this cultural excursion as part of its efforts to familiarize international students with Iran's religious and historical legacy. The itinerary included
- The holy shrine of Hazrat Abdol-Azim Hassani (PBUH)
- The tomb of Sheikh Saduq
- The historic Toghrol Tower
- Surrounding traditional bazaars
Hazrat Abdol-Azim Hassani (PBUH), a descendant of Imam Hassan Mojtaba (PBUH), was born in Medina. His shrine, with its distinctive architecture, forms an integral part of Rey's religious identity. The complex also encompasses the mausoleums of Imamzadeh Hamzeh and Imamzadeh Taher.
Standing approximately 20 meters tall, the Seljuk-era Toghrol Tower represents a unique architectural marvel located near Ibn Babawayh Cemetery. This remarkable structure functioned as an ancient timekeeping device, with its crenellations designed to mark time through sunlight patterns.
This spiritual and cultural visit provided international students with an exceptional opportunity to explore various dimensions of Iranian history and traditions through these significant historical and religious landmarks. The experience offered valuable insights into Iran's rich cultural tapestry and architectural heritage.
