Visit of International Campus Students to the Persian Garden in Vanak An Immersion in Traditional Iranian Architecture
The students from the International Campus had a valuable opportunity to explore Iran's traditional architecture during their visit to the Persian Garden in Vanak. Spanning approximately 3.5 hectares, this lush and serene garden offers visitors a peaceful retreat, with around 2.5 hectares dedicated to verdant green spaces.

Designed by Engineer Ali Mohammad Mokhtari, whose name adorns the garden’s entrance, the Persian Garden draws inspiration from the timeless elements of classic Iranian garden design. Its symmetrical layout, geometric patterns, reflective pools, flowing water channels, fountains, arched gateways, and intricate lattice structures (mashrabiya) showcase the essence of Persian horticultural artistry. Towering pines and ancient silver cypresses further enhance the garden’s charm, evoking the poetic ambiance of Iran’s historic gardens and golestans (rose gardens).
This visit provided students with a deeper appreciation of Iran’s unparalleled cultural and architectural heritage, bridging the past’s elegance
