Top rank of Medical Sciences faculty in the ranking of country s medical universities
The ranking of scientific, educational, student and cultural activities of medical universities and medical faculties for 2021 was published and the top ones were introduced in 43 areas. The results of this ranking show that Medical Sciences faculty of Tarbiat Modares University has top rankings in 6 areas.

Reduction of metal pollutants in water and soil resources with composite nano-structure
Researchers at Tarbiat Modares University have taken a step towards eliminating contaminants in water and soil resources by providing a simple and inexpensive way to build a nano-structured compound. By injecting the produced nano-structure into the soil environment, they were able to reduce the mobility of metal contaminants and release them into the environment, making it possible to use the contaminated site for agricultural use.

Using artificial intelligence algorithms, researchers at the University's department of Information Technology Engineering developed a prognostic model for cardiac arrest in patients with sepsis. The proposed model predicts its occurrence with a sensitivity value above 70% in the period of 30 hours before the cardiac arrest.
