Researchers at the Bio System Mechanical Engineering Department have succeeded in designing an ultrasonic desalination device. The economic analysis shows that the operating and energy costs of this system are lower than prevalent methods of water treatment and desalination.

Times ranking assessed universities based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
