The M.Sc., PhDs degrees and Postdocs are available in the departments listed in the Graduate Degree Chart, including certain scientific fields of study at engineering and science programs.At the moment, there are one Year Master’s Program by research for Fall 2017.

TMU’s motto will be unveiled on December, 13, during the Research Week. The call for proposing a motto for the university was made at the start of 2016. The submitted proposals were reviewed and assessed by a team consisting of the members of TMU’s International Scientific Collaboration Office, Board of Directors and TMU’s Council in seven separate meetings. At the end, “Wisdom, Knowledge, Truth” was selected as the University’s motto.

At the end of the 1st round of National Competition on International criminal Court Simulation held in memory of Henry Dunant in August in Tehran, a team of three TMU students from Faculty of Law managed to win first place.

With a budget of about 50 billion Rials, TMU has managed to provide access to the most prestigious domestic and international scientific databases and electronic journals for its students and faculty members.

The Leiden Ranking 2016 includes 729 top universities in life and earth sciences and they were ranked in terms of six different indicators. With a position of 306, TMU ranked second after Tehran University.

Dr. Ali Shalbafan, faculty member of Marine Sciences Faculty of TMU, managed to design and produce light weight wooden panels as a mechanism to preserve forest resources.

In a ceremony attended by minister of energy, two faculty members of faculty of Electricity and Computer, by the names Dr. Mohsen Parsa Moghadam and Dr. Mahmud Reza Haghi Fam were appreciated as top scientists of power industry.
