Dr. Ali Morsali, faculty member of Basic Sciences Faculty, obtained the third rank in Iran 10th Nanotechnology Festival, TMU obtained the 5th rank among its counterparts.

Due to the critical conditions of soil erosions in Iran and in an attempt to carry out relevant research projects to safeguard soils against erosion, a Ph. D. dissertation under the supervision of Dr. Seyed Hamid Reza Sadeghi for the rainfall and erosion laboratory was designed and constructed at the Natural Resources Faculty of TMU.

Nowadays, due to their unique properties and low costs, aluminum-basedalloys play a significant role in modern world. These metals which enjoy excellent properties such as high durability, malleability, lightweight and ductility are widely used in various industries such as electronics, car manufacturing and nanocomposite coatings.

The first “Three minute thesis” competition entitled “presentation of theses in three minutes” which was sponsored by Electricity and Computer Students’ Association and the council in charge of coordinating TMU Scientific Associations and supervised by Socio-cultural Affairs Deputy Office and the Research and Technology Deputy Office was held from 13:30 to 18:00 on the 22nd of December 2015 at TMU’s Shaheed Motahari Auditorium.

Thanks to the efforts of Research and Technology Deputy of TMU and the financial support of Innovation Fund, the 3rd Technology Building was inaugurated.
